Homemade Superbowl Cake

This Superbowl Cake was requested by a co-worker after I made a football field Superbowl cake for a work party. It is just a 2-layer 8" chocolate cake filled with raspberry preserves. I iced the cake in green buttercream. Then I traced the logo with piping gel and laid that onto the cake.

I filled in the logo with thinned out buttercream. The top border was a simple shell border, and the bottom border used the same tip, but I did an up and down motion instead of the shell. I used chocolate buttercream to make footballs and iced on white buttercream laces.
