Homemade Superbowl Cake
This cake was for a Super Bowl Party the Saints & Colts. 1/2 sheet cake white cake butter cream icing. I made the helmets by tracing a helmet cookie cutter and used copier to enlarge image. Traced with piping gel then transferred to cake by placing gel side down and then brushing lightly with fingertips to ice the cake.
Gently remove and image should be transferred to cake. Outlined with icing then piped in with star tips. Cake was a great success. GO SAINTS. OH almost forgot used chocolate & white candies melts and football candy mold to make the football.
The words "super" and "bowl" were also cookie cutters from the Wilton's 101 cookie cutter collection. You can find numbers letters and all types of shapes, sports, animals, flowers etc.
