Homemade T Rex Birthday Cake

Homemade T Rex Birthday Cake

This Homemade T Rex Birthday Cake was made for my son's 4th birthday. He wanted it to resemble "Buddy" from Dinosaur Train. I used one 9 inch round for the body, cut in half and put together upright. The neck and tail were made from parts of another round cake, I used the extra pieces to form the head.

I used Oreo thin crisps for the spikes. The legs were made with frosting, using only the coupler for icing. He absolutely loved his cake.

My son is in love with Dinosaur Train as well and even though his next birthday is a year away I have a feeling we may be having that same theme. That cake is awesome! Congrats on a job well done!
