Homemade Tank Birthday Cake

This Tank Birthday Cake was really easy and I was so happy with the results as was my 6 year old soldier. I used 2 boxes of cake mix and about 1 1/2 jars of frosting. The round cake I attached to the rectangular one by cutting up some plastic straws to keep it in place.

I used Whipped Chocolate frosting as it's a lighter brown. I then used a green icing spray paint which I found in Michaels and Party City as suggested by previous Tank cake makers on here. I used Oreo cookies for wheels and for the headlights, Twizzlers Licorice cut up as the tracks.

The cannon/gun is actually a telescope from a pirate set that I bought at the Dollar store and the soldier is also from the Dollar store (I had to pull his legs off) and I stuck his weapons on the cake as extra decorations. The flag was from a pack of decorative toothpicks. All in all very easy to make!
