Homemade Tank Birthday Cake
We were inspired to make this homemade tank birthday cake from this website. I made this for my son's 6th birthday. The bottom of the tank is a 9 x 13 pan, the top is a bread loaf pan. The gun pointing out is a cereal straw that was dipped in melted chocolate chips. I used melted chocolate and butterscotch chips to give it a camouflaged look. The tracks are pieces of Hershey's bars and the wheels are halves of Oreos. I topped it off with some of my son's play army men. It was the hit of the party.
