Coolest Teddy Bear 1st Birthday Cake 42

Teddy Bear cake
I decided to make my grandaughter Evie a teddy bear cake for her 1st birthday as its her favourite toy .I googled a recipe for a firm cake and came up with a cream cheese pound cake. I made a large cake for the base and I hired a bear mold for the bear. I covered the large cake in butter cream icing and I used a tip 233 for the bear to represent the fur. The bear's eyes ,nose, ears and feet were made out of fondant.As Evie's invitations and serviettes had lady birds on them I decided to make 4 lady birds and I also made flowers to put around the bear. I found butter flies that were on a wire from a craft store that was ideal to place in the middle of the flowers . They were the only things you could't eat. I put shards of chocolate around the large cake, put a bow in the bear's hair and a happy birthday balloon in the bear's hand and whammo.....you have Evie Faith's 1st birthday cake
. Time is 3.45 am so its time to go to bed !!!!!
