Homemade Tennis Birthday Cake

First I made a half a sheet cake and filled it with chocolate pudding. Then I carved the shape of a tennis racket and dyed my icings separately in all the colors needed. Then I cut out the center piece of the racket.

I iced the entire cake with regular white buttercream and then added all the color over that where needed. Then I used black fondant to make the grip handle. All was made from scratch, including fondant.

For the ball I made a small round mini cake out of the excess cut out for the tennis racket in the sheet cake. Then I used my tip to ice it with bright green frosting. That's it. Enjoy!
