Homemade Thomas Birthday Cake
This is my 3rd attempt at a Thomas birthday cake. I've learnt that the bigger the cake, the better to design it. It gets more detail that way. I made it out of mudcake.
The whole cake is from a slab of rectangular cake cut into 3 pieces, put on top of each other. Then it was just shaped into form. I put ganache underneath the fondant, instead of buttercream.
It turned out well after spending hours on it.
