Homemade Thomas the Train's Journey 5th Birthday Cake
I have made this Thomas the Train's Journey 5th Birthday Cake twice. Evan loved it so much for his 5th birthday, I made the same again for his 6th. His party was at The Miniature Railway Park at Eastbourne in Sussex UK.
I used:
6 sandwich tin sponges
10x4 Kitkats
Chocolate butter icing (Cement)
Apricot jam (glue)
Marzipan (sponge lining and decorations)
Ready to roll soft Icing
Colours
Sugar owl, rabbits, frogs and dog
Non edible train, track and children
A cake base large enough to take a wooden Thomas the tank engine circular track
The cake is a tunnel and scenery. The train trundles round the track until it is time to cut the cake.
