Homemade Tiger Cake

This tiger cake is a birthday cake for my 7 year old daughter, who loves tigers at the moment.

I colored white chocolate with orange, brown and green, which is not a very good idea, because the chocolate isnŽt creamy anymore after mixing it with the tints.

Anyway, I made thin chocolate stripes from each colored chocolate and cut of "tigerstripes", eyes and thin dark stripes for the nose and eyes. Then I puzzled it all together.

The ears are cut in the cake. I used dark and white paste for a tigerish look inside. Next time IŽll only take black and white chocolate for the tiger look, I think its better, and the effect will be the same. The green eyes are important.
