Homemade Tinkerbell Cake

I got the idea for this Tinkerbell cake from this website. So thanks to all for the inspiration. I used a Pyrex bowl, and a Wilton 9 inch round cake pan to make the dress.

The doll used in the center was a Tinkerbell Arrival doll from Wal-Mart, that was undressed and placed in plastic wrap. I made my own icing using a whole bag of confectioner's sugar, Wilton clear vanilla extract, about a cup of Crisco, and a tablespoon of water. I then separated into bowls to make green, yellow and pink with Wilton icing color.

I began with Wilton tip #16 to make the green part, and yellow parts of the dress. I used tip#18 to make the pink flowers. Basically you could run with this however you would like as far as colors, and other variations. Just do like I did and look at some these great cakes on this site, and let them inspire you.
