This Tinkerbell cake was donated to an organization called Birthday Dreams. I bought a Tinkerbell doll to put on it. Then I saw that it was for a two year old. Not a good toy for a 2yr. old. So, I rolled out fondant and traced a picture of Tinkerbell, then colored her in with edible ink. Hey it worked! The idea comes from a princess cake I did last year.
Just a basic sheet cake with a 2nd layer around the edge. I sprayed it green but then added the grass piping also. Add a flower, grass or bush where ever it needs it. For an older child I would add the dolls. Little girls love this cake. The mushrooms are just cupcakes. A little fondant with fondant dots and they look cute.
