Homemade Toilet Birthday Cake

I made this Toilet Birthday Cake for my husband's 40th birthday. I wanted something that wasn't like what everyone would expect for a 40th male cake and I came up with a toilet.

I made the toilet bowl out of cake a 6" on the bottom and a pudding tin for the bowl. The lid and cistern are made out of Styrofoam and covered in fondant.

I used fondant coloured brown for the poo and yellow writing gel to look like wee. I molded the toilet roll and plunger by hand and piped on the toilet mat.

This cake was a blast to make and everyone is still raving about how disgusting it was but funny and original.

Hi love the cake, i have a request to do the same thing for a 40th. I was wondering if you have anymore pictures from different angles? So that i can see how you made the cistern stay there. Thanks

Pudding Tin

A pudding tin is a bowl shaped tin which a lot of the other generation used to make their Christmas puddings in or steam there fruit cakes in.
Thanks,

Great looking toilet cake! I know this sounds stupid but what is a pudding tin? I have never heard of this before.
