Homemade Train Birthday Cake
My best friend's son wanted a train birthday cake and it was super last minute. So I whipped up a 1/4 chocolate sheet cake and frosted it with buttercream. I grabbed some trains from my local cake supply shop. I
sprayed the sky blue with Wilton's edible blue food color spray and I sprayed the ground green. I dabbed on some buttercream clouds with no tip on my piping bag and piped on the black train tracks with a small round tip. I tinted some piping gel blue and poured the lake on and surrounded it with chocolate rocks that I got from Walmart. I added a few trees (also from cake supply store) and I personalized it with some edible sugar letters. I then added a blue buttercream border and called it a day.
He loved his train cake!
