Homemade Train Cake 101

I baked this train cake for my son's 3rd birthday. I purchased a 3-D cake train mold from Ebay. I baked the cake and two smaller ones in loaf pans. I used wafer cookies and Twizzlers for the track. Just use frosting to help stick.

I just colored regular store frosting. For the smoke I put cotton balls over a straw. I used mini and regular sized Oreos for the wheels. One of the freight cars had stick pretzels (to resemble logs) and the other crushed Oreos (to resemble coal).
