Candy Train Cake

This train cake was for my son's 4th birthday. I have a cake pan for the loco-motive and used small bread pans for the freight cars. Butter cream icing - lots of it. Used chocolate cookies for the wheels and coupling and jelly beans as freight.

Make your icing ahead of time, will save you lots of effort the day before the party. Cover the whole cake with a thin layer of icing and wait a while for it to harden. Helps a lot to keep crumbs at bay before you start icing.
