Train Cake

I borrowed a lot of ideas for a train cake from this site, and modified to fit my son's first birthday. I used Nutty Bars and black licorice for the track, and Oreos for the wheels.

The mini-loaf pans worked wonderfully for the train cars, using 2 for the engine and 1&1/2 for the caboose, cut to fit.

My mom and I worked on it together, and it took about 3 hours, but we had a lot of fun making it!
