Homemade Transformer Birthday Cake
I got the Autobot symbol online and enlarged it. I used it to sculpt the Transformer Birthday Cake. I colored simple canned chocolate icing with black gel icing color. You can get the icing color at most craft supply stores.
It's best to start with a chocolate base rather than a white icing otherwise you may end up with gray rather than black. I iced the entire cake with the black icing. I printed out 2 more Autobot symbols and cut out patterns for the red and blue decorations on top. I cut the red decorations smaller than the blue, so that you could see the blue behind the red. I used red and blue fondant for the decorations. I simply wet the blue fondant so that the red would stick to it.
