Transformer Bumblebee Camero Cake
I have recently become interested in making my kids cakes. This year my son wanted a Transformers cake for his 8th birthday. We did a lot of looking online before he picked what he wanted. We settled ona Transformers Bumblebee Camero cake.
I used 2 9X12 sheet cakes. I placed one on top of the other and then carved out the shape as best I could. It came out a little wider than I wanted but I wasn't totally unhappy with it. I used a lemon cake with lemon frosting and added a slight amount of yellow food coloring to intensify the yellow color. I was able to find black frosting in tubes with tip attachments for the details. It made it a lot easier. A little red and gray was made with food coloring and white frosting.
All in all my son was happy with the cake which in turn made me happy.
