Homemade Tree Frog Birthday Cake
I made this Homemade Tree Frog Birthday Cake for my son's 11th birthday. I used two 8x13 cakes along with two 8x8 cakes for the body. A fabricated plywood base allows for the mouth to sit at the angle it does. The eyes are Hostess Snowballs.
The entire cake is edible except the legs which are PVC pipe (front) and pipe insulation (rear) which are covered in marshmallow fondant. Needless to say it was a hit with my son.
