Tweety Bird Cake
I wanted to do something different so I decided to make this Tweety bird cake for my mom for her birthday. And since she likes Tweety bird it was a perfect fit.
I printed off a picture of Tweety bird off the internet, then I drew the same picture on a piece of cardboard, next I cut it out and iced it with all of the proper colors. The cake is very simple to make you just simply need a little bit of artistic skills. It is a white cake and I just colored the frosting with simple gel food coloring that you can buy at your local Wal-Mart in the arts and craft section. This type of food coloring keeps the icing from thinning unlike the regular food coloring.
I used regular white frosting then added yellow for the face, orange for the beek, white, blue, and black for the eyes. It is simple and fun to make.
