Homemade Veggie Tales Cake

I used a 9x13" cake pan and an 8" round cake pan to make this Veggie Tales cake. I used homemade buttercream frosting, and crumb coated both cakes with a white coat, letting it set up before trying to decorate.

Then I made green and red frostings for Bob and Larry and gave them their base color.
TIP: For red icing, let the red die 'sit' for 10 minutes or more - it starts off pink, but turns red after time.

Then I used pictures I had of Veggie Tales to help me create the perfect facial features (eyes, mouth, etc). Then used Fondant to make the noses, and then a long piece of fondant to go around their eyes to make them 'pop'.

They turned out great, and Tyson loved it!
