Veggie Tales Larry Cake
My son loves Veggie Tales and I made these Larry cupcakes to go with the Bob cake. Veggie Tales video boxes are great sources to use for inspiration/design.
The Larry cupcakes are very easy. I made 30 cupcakes (in metal colored cupcake cups), trying to make sure each was the same size. I then covered cardboard with aluminum foil to make a surface large enough to carry all the cupcakes on and transfer a short distance.
I used white buttercream icing to first make the two eyes and tooth. Then I added green food coloring paste to desired color and iced all other cupcakes. I found it easiest to now arrange cupcakes on board. Then I added the black using a store bought black icing tube with fine writing tip. Luckily, I had two cupcakes that "hung over" the top of the cup which were perfect to use for the eyes.
