Homemade Vikings Football Helmet Cake
My son is a Vikings fan and I decided to make him a Vikings Football Helmet Cake. The helmet is made with the round ball cake pan and sculpted a bit to resemble a helmet, crumb coated and covered in fondant.
This was my first attempt at covering something whole with fondant. Not as easy as they make it look. My son and his friends enjoyed eating the helmet. I love working with fondant, but don't much care for the taste. This is my third cake submission on this wonderful website. Thanks for posting them.
