Homemade Wall-e and Eve Birthday Cake Idea

Homemade Wall-e and Eve Birthday Cake Idea

I made this Wall-e and Eve Birthday Cake Idea from two 13x9 yellow pound cakes and one the boot from a batch of brownies, the brownies allowed molding for the boot.

I cut free hand and decorated according to the movie cover. I watched the movie twice while decorating. For ease in cutting cake and brownies, freeze your cakes first, then cut.

I used star tips, piping tips and free hand to decorate, because I was doing this at 3 am when the family were asleep. I used what I had on hand, jelly beans cut in half, gel paste colors and warmed chocolate to outline.

I tried to make the cockroach to sit on Wall-e's shoulder, but at 5 am, I could barely see, let alone construct a cockroach!

Lots of work, but fun and turned out to be adorable!
