Homemade Welcome Baby Cake

This Welcome Baby Cake is our first attempt at fondant (Mom and daughter project).

Bake 2 round cakes, cut around the edge of one to make it smaller for the head. Save the cut edge to make the arms out of. The cake was iced first, then left to set for 10 mins before rolling out the fondant and placing it over top.

White fondant was mixed with brown icing to make his native skin a little darker. Soother is a sour candy.
