Homemade Winnie the Pooh Birthday Cake
I made this Winnie the Pooh Birthday Cake for a little girl's Winnie the Pooh themed birthday. The bottom cake I made with a 10 inch cake pan. The honey pot was carved from a 6 inch cake, filled, crumb coated and then covered with fondant. I covered the bottom cake with fondant and decorated to my liking.
I used my homemade marshmallow fondant for the covering of both cakes and embellishments. I added the honey pot to the cake and adorned it with fondant/gumpaste honey bees and flowers (which I had made up in advance). Lastly I added the stuffed Winnie the Pooh bear which I had to use wires to make it sit on the cake.
All in all it turned out great!
