Homemade Winnie The Pooh Cake

This Winnie The Pooh Cake is the first cake I ever made and decorated by myself (age 14.... now I'm 15). I got home from school one Friday and was very bored. My mom and dad were both at work. I decided to bake a cake (it is a passion).

I used Betty Crocker for the cake mix. I made my own buttercream frosting (I don't measure anything out..... but it always comes out the same). I got some piping bags, a star tip, and a small circle tip. First I smoothed the frosting over Pooh's foot, the honey jar label, and the top of his honey jar. Then, I outlined everything and filled in the eyes, nose, mouth, eyebrows, and background in black.

After that, I used the star tip and decorated the honey pot and Pooh's body. I wrote HUNNY on the jar in black. I also decorated the sides so that Pooh looks a bit 3-D. Well, I hope he looks as yummy as he tasted!
