Homemade Wow Wow Wubbzy Cake
My 4 year old LOVES Wow Wow Wubbzy and I wanted to make him a Wow Wow Wubbzy cake. Wubbzy seemed easy to make so I baked a chocolate cake and cut if in half. I frosted half of it with chocolate icing. I then dyed marshmallow fondant that I had made the day before yellow. I wasn't experienced with fondant before so it was an interesting experience! :)
I rolled out my fondant and molded it around the cake. I then took some fondant and shaped it for Wubbzy's ears. Next I cut some little slivers of cake from the extra half for Wubbzy's legs and arms. I covered those pieces with fondant. Then I made fingers for Wubbzy out of little rolled pieces of fondant and the same for his tail. Unfortunately I threw the extra colored fondant away before I made his feet so I had to make do with little scraps of fondant that had been cut away from the body.
For the face, I simply used a tube of black decorating frosting and made eyes, a nose and a mouth.
