Cute Homemade Yo Gabba Gabba Brobee Birthday Cake

I made this Yo Gabba Gabba Brobee cake for my son’s second birthday. I got the idea from the Brobee cake 5 on this website. It was very easy to make.

I used two 9″ x 13″ cake pans. The cake was made from scratch. The body was chocolate cake while the arms and horns were vanilla cake.

I used three small containers of white, fluffy icing and separated them into four bowls. The body was a neon green color and I used almost the whole bottle for this. The stripes were regular green coloring, the horns and mouth were red and yellow, and black was used for the unibrow, eyes and mouth. I saved about two scoops of plain white icing for the eyes. I used plastic icing bags with metal tips for the detail.

I followed all of the directions from cake #5 except that I made my arms 3″ wide. I wanted to use up more of my vanilla cake!

This was one of my first cakes I have ever made and I was really pleased with the result. It was a huge hit at the party and my son loved it!
