Homemade Yo Gabba Gabba Cake
I could not find a Yo Gabba Gabba Cake anywhere when I was shopping for my son's first birthday and that is his most favorite thing ever! I got a set of three glass bake ware bowls for $9 at Target and used the smallest one for the cakes. Instead of buying a ton of white frosting and coloring it, I asked the bakery section if I could buy color frosting and it was 99cent/lb.! So I got six different colors and it made it so easy!
After I frosted the cakes I used a fork for the green ones hair and the yellow robot I used a large metal spoon that was soaking in hot water for the smooth look. I just used silver sprinkles for the metal look and I frosted a pretzel stick for his antenna.
Everyone loved them and thought I paid a lot of money for them! My son devoured them!
