Homemade Yoda Star Wars Theme Cake

This Yoda Star Wars Theme Cake made from an 8" round choc mix and gnashed all over to make surface ridged as so much detail to push down onto icing. The colour by Sugarflair (liquorice, bitter lime/green chestnut and liquid white edible paint for the eye highlight). The board covered with a wipe clean pic material, ideal board covers various colours too, just think it looks better than a silver cake board.

Hi there, I'm having a Star Wars themed birthday, and Yoda is my favourite character, so I wanted to make my own cake. Could you please tell me exactly what you used to get the detail?? All the other cakes I've looked at are crappy looking, but this looks just like him! Is that icing on the top, fondant, and what'd you use to get the detail?
