Coolest Zombie Cake

My son’s birthday is on the 28th and he always has a Halloween themed party. I Googled Halloween cakes and found a Zombie Cake and came up with my own rendition.

There is a PVC frame holding the arms up (covered in rice krispie treats and fondant)and down the center of the chest (all cake). The head is Styrofoam with fondant accents. The bottom is poured sugar dyed red to give it a bloody look of course along with colored corn syrup.

Fun to make! The kids loved it! Hope you all do too!

  2. I love 3D cakes and have been making them the past couple of years for the kids. This is the best 3D cake I’ve ever seen!!! Love the blood accents. Too cool. I might have to copy you.

  3. So I was searching the internet with my 7 year old, who will be having a birthday in about 3 weeks. He saw your cake and said that it is the one he wants. If you could send me the directions and list of materials you used so I can try and duplicate what you did that would be wonderful. Thank you in advance.
