Cornhole Birthday Cake

I made an 11x15 cake and then cut it in half to make 2 rectangles. To make it look more like a corn hole board I angled the tops of the cakes. I then iced them smooth white using the Wilton recipe icing.

I cut the holes using a measuring cup as a guide and then cut out some cake. I iced the inside of the holes using thinned down icing tinted black.

Next, I iced the corn hole bags onto the boards. As a finishing touch I thinned down more icing and tinted it green to look like the corn hole boards were sitting in grass.

How did you angle the cakes? I wanted to do a corn hole cake but couldn't figure out how to angle them.

There really isn't that much of an angle. I didn't want to lose too much cake. If I were to make another one I would probably add another layer toward the end with the hole to get a better angle. Good luck!
