Corona Bottle Cake
A friend needed a cake for her brother's 30th birthday. She wanted a corona bottle. We made the bottle separate from cake. It is the exact size of the bottle. My husband hand-painted all the details on to the bottle with food coloring.
I did the half sheet cake and decorated it with finely crushed graham crackers. I used a paint brush to put blue spots on the cake and then swiped it all the way across the cake to look like a blue sky with some strings of clouds.
The sea shells are made from gum paste.
The entire bottle can be taken off the cake and eaten separately, which is exactly what the guy did. there is also a fondant plane and sign going over the top that says happy birthday TJ.
