Cow Cake

I made this cow cake for our daughter's 5th birthday. We had a barnyard theme. I got the idea for the cake from familyfun.com.

I used a one 8" round cake for the base and 1 cake baked in a 6" bowl for the nose. 4 cupcakes made up the paws and the ears. The ears were trimmed.

Then I iced it all white and added chocolate spots. I used Junior Mints for the eyes and upside down Hersey Kisses for the nostrils.

We completed the party with party hats shaped like animal ears, a hay ride, duck, duck goose and pin the tail on the donkey. The kids loved it!
