My first Diaper Cake
I looked online for a few days to try to get ideas on how to make a diaper cake. I found this site by browsing images. Then I compiled tips from various web sites.
I bought a pack of Pampers Size 1 diapers and then assorted baby boy items. I used 2 bottles in the middle of the tiers to make it a little easier to hold the shape.
You will need diapers, rubber bands, thick ribbon to hide the rubber bands at the end, double sided tape, a round cake board or tray or even a round piece of cardboard and then whatever little toys and gifts you want to add. I also bought some bows and these cute little clothes pins with ducks on them to embellish at the end.
It was fun to make and I think the guest of honor will be pleasantly surprised by the diaper cake! I had such a great time creating this and it was fairly easy even for a novice crafter such as myself!
