Dinosaurs on the Move
I made this fun cake for my nephews 4th birthday. Cake base- is a chocolate cake baked in 9 x 13" pan and frosted with white frosting. I went around the edges with a star tip. For the stream and grass I used Wilton's spray on color. I cut out a pattern for the stream and laid it on the cake while I sprayed the grass on. I removed pattern and sprayed in stream. The rocks lining the stream are chocolate candies that can be found at a candy store in the mall. Tree's and dinosaur where bought a local cake decorating shop.
Volocano - was baked in 8 x 8" pan. I cut in half and stacked one layer on top of the other, then cut into volcano shape. I used already made chocolate frosting for the volcano (put frosting in microwave for a few seconds for easier application.) Used tubed frosting for lava coming out of volcano.
Cake was simple to make and a big success at the party!
