Dinosaur Pirate Cake

Dinosaur Pirate Cake

My friends son wanted a cake shaped like a Dinosaur Pirate Surfer Cake. I convinced him that a Dinosaur Pirate would be just as awesome!
I used the Wilton's Bear 3D cake mold for the body, cut the ears off, and used a Wilton's Disposable Icing bag to form the tail with Rice Krispies Treat.

Then used a star tip to cover the cake with icing, used Laffy Taffy for the spikes, and also for the stripes on the feet. For the hat and Happy Birthday I used favors from his party, I think they got them at Michael's Craft?

I loved making this cake!
