Dora Cake

This is my first attempt at making and decorating a cake. I made this Dora cake for my daughter's 2nd birthday party.It took about 4 hours to decorate it.

I used green frosting in place of the blue frosting since the party colors were purple and green. I used a basic buttercream recipe and just a box of yellow cake mix. Note: Make more buttercream icing than what cake pan instructions call for. It turned out really well for being a first timer!
