My son was in love with Elephants and the movie Dumbo so I knew I had to make a dumbo cake for his 3rd Birthday. Since Dumbo is such an old film it was really hard to locate anything dumbo related to make or add to the cake. We found the stuffed animals at the Disney Store and I made a big cake for the guests and a little cake for my son. Both cakes are made from 2 stacked round cake pans. I used a stencil to create the star on top and then I sat dumbo on the star cut out. My husband helped to glue little sticks to the bottom of the star so Dumbo wouldn’t have a bottom full of cake! This was my first cake ever made and I received a lot of compliments on the cake…it was hard to cut it :)
