I made this cake for my son's 2nd birthday which was a nemo party. I made the top cake from (I think it was a 8" tin) in butter cake and then iced it with blue butter cream. I used chocolate covered rasins for rocks, green icing that I piped on for the seaweed, candy fish that I found from Big W, edible silver balls for the bubbles, sprinkles for the top where nemo sits and edible glitter to give it sparkle. Nemo was a Happy Meal toy from McDonalds.
I then made a cake stand from cake boards and wedding pillars that I siliconed together and arranged cupcakes iced in the same blue, and piped in the same green around the stand. The little nemo characters ontop of the cupcakes were rings I bought off Ebay, The cake was a huge hit!
