Flower Cake

Elizabeth's Flower Cake
This was so much fun to make! I used a flower-shaped Wilton cake pan as the base, and added a cupcake on top of each petal to make the flowers. One trick is to ice the cupcakes before you put them on the cake. You can use candies or icing to decorate the top of the cupcakes. I used smarties and icing, and candied cherries. For the stems I used green icing and then candied orange sections for the leaves.
