Homemade PIttsburgh Steelers Birthday Cake

This is a Pittsburgh Steelers Cake for a Cleveland Browns fan! He took the joke/cake well! LOL! The cake is a double layered Carrot Cake inside (to at least represent the Browns somehow) and the frosting is a cream cheese frosting! The Steelers emblem I made is made on edible paper. The base I made from printing Steeler prints off the computer and piecing it together on a board to add to the cake’s features. The terrible towel is also made on edible paper and it’s attached to a plastic square frame to hold it. The number 53 and two shirts on the front are fondont. The Steelers helmets and footballs are plastic additions. I used the big flower tip to edge the entire cake! TO make the carrot cake I made I used 3 cups shredded carrots, 1 cup veg oil, 2 cups of sugar, 1 tsp baking powder, 2 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp baking soda, 2 cups of flour & 4 eggs! Baked at 350 for 30 min’s. I made two of these cakes for this photo. The frosting is made by mixing together Half cup of butter (soft)

6oz of cream cheese (soft), 1 tsp of vanilla and four and a half cups of powdered sugar. I made 3 batches of this to make the cake! Hope you enjoy!!!
