Hot Wheels Cake
This Hot Wheels racetrack cake was made from 2 9" round cakes. Each cake was three layers and made to look like a checker board when cut. This was done with a Wilton Checkerboard cake kit. I used 2 Betty Crocker cake mixes - one white and one chocolate.
I then cut a semi circle out of one of the cake and set them together to make the figure 8 shape. Instead of a figure 8 track I made a three with black icing and added a few Hot Wheels and accessories that came right from our toy box. My son couldn't wait to get his hands on it!
