Jo Jo Clown Cake

This Jo Jo the clown cake is my first attempt to a cake this size, mixing buttercream and fondant to finish. I was asked to create a birthday cake for a friend's son's first birthday party. To my surprise - it was for 100 people.

I searched online for other people's ideas and Disney's website for JoJo's colors and backgrounds and this is what I came up with. I used Wilton's techniques and tips for a cake recipe that could take the tiered stacked construction as well for the construction of the cake.

Many hours were spent baking to make this 6-layer, 3-tiered cake, but so much fun when it all came together.
