Jurassic Park
I put this volcano, Jurassic Park Cake scene on a half- sheet cake, using dinosaurs and simple toys from a pack of dinosaur toys, I also made fondant bushes and a nest for the Tri- top out of little Easter egg candies !! I used the Wilton's large cup cake pan for the volcano top and a 7 inch base cutting and timing where needed, the inside of the volcano was made out of red velvet cake and covered with chocolate frosting, I used the extra pieces as lava rocks ! Then adding vines and grass in the brilliant green color, I added a river and rocks.... use your imagination... really !!! For the top of the cake I bought dry ice and put it in a glass container, putting hot water on it caused it to smoke, then bought the candles that sparkled and I have to say it was a hit !!! The frosting on the top yellow, red, and orange was done with the easy flow frosting.
