Ladybugs in Grass Cake
This Ladybug cake was for my daughter's 2nd birthday. I shaped a 2 layer sheet cake to look like a "grassy knoll" with rolling hills.
I used a grass tip with different shades or green to make the grass. I used the Wilton small wonder pan to make the body of the ladybugs and half of the small wonder cakes cut shorter for the heads. I covered them with fondant and used black candles for the antennas.I also made fondant sunflowers to add some more color.
This is the first cake I made and it took 2 days to make.
