Little Words of Wisdom Birthday Cake

The theme of the party is quotes so I created this birthday cake with quotes and words of wisdom.

This is a 12 inch round cake, frosted in homemade buttercream frosting. All decorations are edible and homemade out of marshmallow fondant. I made this cake for a friend’s daughter’s 10th birthday party.

I guess the mothers of all the girls are coming also and they’re going to be doing and talking about quotes. This is often the age that kids can get a little mean and insensitive to other kids, so I think the idea behind this party is to teach them to be the best person they can be and to be kind to all. I think it is a pretty cool idea for a birthday party.

This cake was a lot if fun to make. For the hearts with the little sayings on them all I did was use a heart cookie cutter and then I wrote on them with a black edible marker !

When I delivered the cake the mom was so excited and said it was perfect. She was sure her daughter would love it too!
