Motocross Cake

motocross cake
For the cake I used 2 boxes of chocolate cake and pieced them together using Bavarian cream filling. The icing is a cream cheese frosting. The jumps are marshmallows held together with toothpicks, and covered with icing. I started icing the green around the edge, then did the track in brown icing. I sprinkled oreo cookie crumbs along the track for dirt. I used pretzel sticks for the whoops section. All the rocks are edible and from my local cake decorating store, which is where I got the mini trees also. The finish line I constructed using 2 black straw as posts. Then I put 2 sparklers in the straws and so when lit, they looked like fire works.
